Starter Game for Amazon Lumberyard

Starter Game is the first complete game sample to showcase the latest capabilities of Lumberyard, Amazon’s free AAA game engine. It’s not just a quick path for getting started with the engine; it’s also a great example of what you can build today using Lumberyard.

Climax Studios created a level that a player could run around in. It was a very small team and I'm pleased with how much we managed to achieve. I created many of the assets shown here; rocks, foliage, the crashed airship, the background buildings, crates, the huge gun, etc. I also re-textured the main character and the enemy robots.
